I'm plowing through Duma Key by Stephen King, although I need to if I want to finish the book. Stupid library and its "Fast Read" books. Have to get it done in 7 days or I get charged $1 a day every day it's overdue. So far, I'm around the 450 page mark, out of something like 610. I'm quite impressed, seeing as I haven't gotten that involved in a real novel in quite a while.

I'm also plowing through Sailor Moon. I started it from the beginning agesssss ago, and kind of hee'ed and haw'ed around not watching it, seeing as it's about 296 episodes. Right now, I'm on Sailor Moon R, and around with Prince Dimande and Esmeraude (which is pretty close to the end of R, seeing as within the next 5 episodes Black Lady comes around and then epic battle and such). So I'm quite pleased with myself, considering some of these episodes I have never seen. So I'm catching up on lost childhood time. :P

I'm also bingeing on manga--I've bought so much lately. It's really bad, but it's keeping me amused and kind of making my days go faster, seeing as I'm bringing them to work, and it's something that keeps me excited and entertained. Lots of Golgo 13, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Maison Ikkoku, Nana, GTO, and MPD-Psycho (which is lulzy, BRAIN FLOWERS HOLY CARP!).

I'm also trying to find other stuff to read while I'm on the Internet, such as blogs and stuff. I lurk on a particular urban legends forum, as well as pop by about 10 different blogs, 5 celebrity gossip blogs, a few gadget/movie blogs, Newgrounds, BBC News, about 10 webcomics.

I think I'm just starving for literature and/or reading material lately. I haven't read as much as I used to when I was in elementary and high school--I'd plow through at least a book and a half a week, ranging from Gossip Girl to Stephen King to romance novels. Just something to keep my mind occupied while I wore myself down at night, or when I was waiting for school to start, while I ate my lunch, while I waited for class to start/waiting for people to finish tests (I'd be really quick on test-taking, although it didn't bring the best results, but I always did bad if I started changing and second-guessing answers), and just read for the sake of getting sucked into the story.

I also haven't written in a very long time. I also haven't been drawing, so my creativity is kind of dying on me, which is sad, because I keep getting ideas in my head based on books or just on stuff I'd think of at work (which I've started doing crossword puzzles and Sudoku on my break if I didn't feel like reading the newspaper, you know, when my boss wasn't around...). I don't know.

My hunger for reading has hit me full force. I haven't felt this sucked into reading in a long time, it feels like.

So I've been meaning to make topics/blog posts about the various activities/events that I've been doing for the last while, but I keep forgetting to make them.

So here's a recap:

4) Been watching a shitload of anime (especially with my dad, we're watching Cowboy Bebop together)
5) Been working like nuts, trying to find new workers (which reminds me that I gotta put up a Craigslist ad...), trying to deal with losing most of our workers (either to vacation or back to school)
6) Found out i'm getting a raise (yay for $10/hr!!)

Man, I was curious, so I started looking through all my sketchbooks (I had one from when I was in grade 4, haha), just to see how I progressed.

In EVERY sketchbook of basically every year I have one of, I've drawn Sailor Moon at least once. :P

EDIT: I received my DomoKun shirt from my friend today. Was worried that it wouldn't fit, because it's a youth large (and I wasn't sure if my boobies would fit), but IT FIT! HOORAY!

Totally worth the money I paid to buy this amazingly awesome anime.

From start to finish, it was completely engaging. Never mind the fact that I love books and such that take place back in the Middle Ages (in that time frame), that I love fantasy, action, violence, fucked up demons, and random inserts of boobs.

It was possibly one of the best animes I have been recommended, and it just filled that blood lust I have, and it was, fuck, I'm having trouble articulating words for how awesome it was. It was a manly anime--big fucking guy wielding a sword that was fucking bigger than he was, a whole shitload of fighting, both hand to hand and with cannons and with swords, fuck, it made my panties wet at times by how violent it got, and just how fucking awesome it was.

If you're looking for an anime, this is definitely one to get. No fucking joke.

Man, I got a shitload of anime I gotta watch now, but I don't think I'll get as engaged in them as much as I've been basically dying to come home from work so I can watch Berserk. I'm not joking about that, either. This is the fastest I've ever gotten through a TV series or a marathon of movies.

Just. fuck. I have to be up early, but there's no fucking way I can get to bed now. So fucking jacked up, fuck.

I'm getting down to the final Expert Rock Band grind--on Act...8, I think, yeah, with Metallica and Rush and The Who and what not. Planning on finishing that set and hopefully act 9 by Tuesday. :D

Anyways, got bored, decided that the Guinness Girl will be put into temporary storage, and that a new sexy lady would be replacing her for now.

So yeah, multi-armed goddess. :D

Woohoo, been banging those drums damn near daily for the last 3 days I've owned it. Sooooo fun. Beat easy on drums (haha, I still suck, oh well), getting expert done for guitar (so much easier than GH). Wanna be able to play Go With the Flow and Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld.

Then I can scream like Timmy and make my dad laugh.

Which also reminds me, he started watching Cowboy Bebop with me, and now he wants to finish the series off. How lulzy is that? He's my rl anime buddy. XD

And uh, work sucks (my favourite person to work with is finally coming back, so we'll be able to do pub nights and movie nights as well as just plain go crazy at work and blather about so-and-so sucking hard and shit), and uh. Driving lessons is full of classwork, so no actual driving yet.

And uh. Yeah. Bout it for new shit with me. errrr, uhhhh, needing to get a shitload of laundry done. Don't have a fucking white sock that's clean, and everything needs to get washed. And uh, fuck, what else. Still need to send Luis my sketchbook page.
