Just came back from the hospital after two days/two nights of barfing, inability to swallow anything, and basically being hooked up to an IV.
Means I can't work for a bit when I get home to Vancouver. LOL. Oh well.
NHS rocks. Better than Canada by far.
Oh yes, it wasn't strep throat or tonsillitis or a cold--it's glandular fever. WOOHOO.
Ban me.

It's my last day of antibiotics, so I hope I should be better now.
Your symptoms sound strikingly similar to the some of the symptoms I and others that attended the Montreal met-up are suffering. D=

No--I got to stay in the ears/nose/throat section of the hospital. Got a free ambulance ride, too. :D
But uh, it apparently has the same symptoms as strep, but is different and a lot worse, apparently. I got three different meds I'm on, and I can't do full contact sports or drink for a while since I don't want liver or kidney damage.
Woo.
