I got asked today by a customer if I owned the cafe I work at.
After saying no, I asked him why he thought that.
His response?
"Because you're always here."

I've been told that so much in the past year--it's kind of scary when you get asked if you EVER leave.

and also, boss is not keeping the newer, later hours, so shittttttttttt. :(

We open at 6, close at 5:30. Basically a 12 hour day, but I'd still have time for NG.

nono, I don't actually work that long. :P It's how long the store's open, and if I was hypothetically there all the time, I'd be there for 12 hours every day. :P

I seem to be there more than he is nowadays, anyway.
I guess his trust in me has risen (yayyy) or something. Most of my customers actually make conversation with me, when about a year ago, they'd barely speak a word to me.
Which makes me feel worth something. :)
