I just had to post here. Kittens :3
Spent the weekend visiting my best bud and his soon-to-be wife.
They have 3 cats. Lucky is older and just does what he wants.... mostly relaxing. Sabrena is this tiny black cat with these tiny paws. She never uses her claws, except when chasing her toys. She loves to play with empty boxes, and is afraid of shoes. I think the poor thing was abused by her previous owner.
Salem is a weird cat..... He has thumbs! No, really. He has the cat version of what could best be called thumbs. And he uses them to his advantage! Much easier to grab onto things when you have thumbs. He keeps eating the plastic Christmas tree though. He might have been inbred. That could explain his mutation. Most curious cat I've ever met.

I was kind of like that with the neighbourhood cat that kept scaring the birds away, except my brothers liked to sneak up on it and scare it shitless.

I like dogs, too, but kitties seem happy with me.
Tell me, I fell down the stairs today. Friggin janitor washed the stairs and forgot to rinse them. Result: SLippery soapy stairs.
I also think I might have been an animal another life; a canine to be more precise. I feel good around dogs and I have a very special friendship with my 2-year old husky, Heron(laugh if you want, it's actually a bird species, the name). I can say I stop almost instinctively on the street to pet a dog, and I've not had any incident with a dog ever. I've even happened to see dogs that were aggresive and sneering at other people, calmed down and came to me wagging their tail.

Cat hair makes me sneeze but I'm not allergic to it nor its possesors. Cat hair is softer than dog hair... Dammit Heron's hair is not soft enough.

I have had that idea as well. A lot of cats ."most of the bad ones" gravitate towards me. I have adopted a lot of strays. Not sure why except I have always been a friend to an animal in need and would try my best to help it along. Since you like cats. please have a look at my kitties! They are rescues from a park, someone just left them there s0o we took them in and they are precious. It makes me wonder who could do that to just a baby really.
