Oh Jesus, yeah, Requiem for a Dream will get anyone depressed. NOTHING good happens at the end. I mean, the soundtrack is great, so to those who haven't seen the movie already, obtain the soundtrack and enjoy the music while you still aren't reminded of every screwed up scene in which each track occurs...
I was going to watch that movie with my girlfriend, as neither of us had seen it before, and I didn't really know what to expect (thought it would just be one of those trippy druggy movies). Then I watched it with a friend first... So glad I didn't see it with my significant other. That would've bummed us both.
I got the soundtrack. Glad I did.
