I keep telling people, don't worry about putting effort into learning HO/POs. They'll come to you in due time. At this point Freebird, Hangar 18, and Play With Me were the only songs that I needed to use HO/POs to get the five star. Most sections of songs that you can HO/PO can be done just as easily while strumming and you don't need to get 100% of the hardest parts of a song for a five star. You just need to limp past them without wasting your star power. That's the real secret to snagging the coveted five star for a song, maintaining an 8x multiplyer on the easier parts.
It's more like, I can't get past the song because at certain points, my fingers refuse to cooperate, and so when I get to a song like Laid to Rest, they go "HEY, LET'S FUCK THIS UP AND NOT MOVE FAST ENOUGH".
I'm not caring about getting 5-star right now--it's more like just being able to pass and get onto the next set.

i beat expert on both games. i am now trying to beat GH2 on expert with 5 stars, and i've got 5 stars on 15 of the songs so far. since ive done so well on guitar hero, i'm learning to play a real guitar now.

Got me thinking, newgrounds is unique.
I never have seen other forums (cept searching for answers to stuff) and I think its funny how everyone just types offensive or mean stuff to each other.
There are exceptions but rarely. Even when users try to help others out it still seems like they put in some mean comments, but with good intent.
First and only forum I think I will every post in.
The mods are neat too. I wonder if other forums have interactive mods like this one.
