A L'Interieur/Inside

I rented this movie, as well as a movie called "Them" (which I'm watching tomorrow at some point), on the recommendation that I dip my feet before seeing Martyrs (a movie cast had shown through Stickam that I've been meaning to watch).

The French are seriously fucked up when it comes to horror movies.

Inside is about a woman named Sarah, whose significant other Matthieu was killed in a car crash she got them in. She's pretty much at the end of her pregnancy, so you see her with a large belly and scars that she obtained from the crash.

This crazy bitch ass lady comes to her house, demanding to be let in, and after that, all hell breaks loose.

This is seriously fucked up, but it's so fucking awesome.

I blame cast.

I'm kind of bummed because the writer/directer of Martyrs Pascal Laugier is no longer in charge of the Hell Raiser remake according to Clive Barker, who totally supported him. There were no official statements from Dimension as to why Pascal was fired/left the project, however I think Dimension Films is composed of a bunch of pussies who don't approve of the disturbingly realistic violence Pascal pulls off so well, so in turn he said fuck it. It's a money thing.

Monocrom, all the horror films from Japan are about the same thing: creepy grey children with supernatural powers fucking things up for everyone. It was scary in Ringu, but then it kinda got sad.

Also, congrats on 16k posts! That's one thousand less than 17k! I remember learning that in school.
